Book Summary

Faith does not understand why her mother hates her so much. She has never felt love from her mother, and as she grew in adulthood, her mother's abuse only worsened. Faith begins to have blackouts that she can not explain. She knows that something has taken her over, but she has no way to stop her. She starts going to the cemeteries to speak to the spirits of the dead who comfort her. She loses herself in her poetry, only to realize that all that she writes comes true. She gets betrayed by her best friend and others around her whom she thought cared for her.  Everyone in her life whom she thought believed in her has all lied to her. But the only thing that has been constant in protecting her is what possesses her.
